Cheerleading requires dedication, accuracy, athleticsm and teamwork. The 2007/2008 season has been an all-time high for the
McMaster Marauder Cheerleading team. The team performed at all of the McMaster football team's and the Hamilton Ticats' home
games. Then in December 2007 the team competed in the 38th PCA Canadian National Championships at the Powerade Center in Brampton,
Ontario, winning the small co-ed division. Throughout the rest of the winter the team practiced hard for upcoming competitions
while attending all of the McMaster basketball team's home games. In March 2008 they competed in the CheerAlliance Nationals
held in Kitchener, Ontario where they once again claimed the title of National Champs. On March 26th, 2008 the team leaves
for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to compete in one of the biggest cheerleading competitions in the USA, the NCAA Battle at
the Beach in the quest for a third, chmapionship this season.
